  • Air Jordan 4 Pink Thunder

Air Jordan 4 Pink Thunder black and pink side profile

    Overview:

The Air Jordan 4 Pink Thunder reworks the classic Thunder formula with a striking colour shift. A matte black nubuck upper forms the foundation of the design, preserving the AJ4’s iconic shape and layered construction.

In contrast, vivid pink detailing appears across the eyelets, mesh netting, and sections of the midsole, creating a strong visual balance between restraint and impact. The signature plastic wing supports and visible Air unit remain intact, ensuring the silhouette stays true to its 1989 origins.

The colour blocking mirrors previous Thunder releases, maintaining heritage consistency while offering a fresh identity. The bold pink accents give the sneaker a more modern energy without straying from the model’s established framework.

    Design and Materials:

Premium black nubuck covers the upper, delivering a smooth and uniform finish across the panels. Pink mesh netting on the quarter and tongue introduces depth and contrast, while matching lace eyelets enhance the cohesive colour story.

The midsole features a combination of black and pink, with a visible Air unit in the heel. A black rubber outsole completes the build, reinforcing durability and everyday wearability.

While inspired by the original Thunder lineage, the Pink Thunder feels distinct, offering a louder and more fashion-forward interpretation of the Air Jordan 4.

  • Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG SP Travis Scott Mocha

    Overview:

The Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG SP “Travis Scott Mocha” is widely regarded as one of the defining collaborations of the modern sneaker era. Released in 2019, the pair reworked the classic Air Jordan 1 Low silhouette through Travis Scott’s distinct design language, introducing subtle but impactful changes that set it apart from traditional Jordan releases.

Rather than dramatically altering the model, the collaboration refined familiar elements while adding a signature twist that instantly made it recognisable.

    Design & Details:

The upper combines smooth white leather with rich Dark Mocha suede overlays, creating a balanced and wearable colour palette. Black paneling across the toe box and midfoot adds depth, while the oversized reversed Swoosh on the lateral side immediately distinguishes the pair from standard Air Jordan 1 releases.

Cactus Jack branding appears subtly on the heel and tongue, reinforcing the identity of the collaboration without overwhelming the silhouette. The Sail midsole gives the shoe a slightly aged aesthetic, complementing the earthy tones throughout the upper.

The OG low-cut construction keeps the pair versatile and easy to wear, whether styled casually or kept strictly as a collector’s piece.

    Release date: 20th July 2019

    Personal Collection Notes:

I was fortunate enough to win this pair directly through Nike SNKRS at retail. Since release, it has remained DSWT in my collection with original packaging and spare laces included.

This is easily one of my favourite pairs in my archive. The combination of Dark Mocha suede and clean white leather feels timeless, while the reversed Swoosh still stands out years later without feeling forced or gimmicky.

In hand, the material quality and detailing elevate the shoe beyond the hype surrounding its release. For me, this remains one of the most complete collaborations of the modern era because the design has genuinely aged well.

  • Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low Sesame

    Overview:

The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low Sesame continues the ongoing legacy between Virgil Abloh’s deconstructed design language and one of Nike’s most enduring silhouettes. While still rumoured, the pair follows the blueprint established by previous Off-White Air Force 1 releases, blending refined material choices with signature exposed detailing.

Rather than reinventing the model entirely, this iteration leans into tonal execution. Early imagery suggests a clean and understated take, allowing texture and construction to carry the visual weight.

    Design and Materials:

The upper is expected to feature sesame-toned premium leather, paired with a contrasting metallic silver Swoosh secured by exposed zig-zag stitching. Classic Off-White elements remain intact, including quotation mark branding and the familiar zip-tie detail.

Exposed foam along the tongue nods to Virgil Abloh’s deconstructed aesthetic, while tonal overlays maintain the structure of the traditional Air Force 1 Low. The midsole features the recognisable “AIR” text detail, consistent with previous collaborative pairs.

The overall finish focuses on material contrast over bold colour blocking, delivering a more subtle yet refined execution.

    Release Information:

Release Date: Rumoured for Autumn 2026

    Expected Retail Price: Around £150

Release Method: Nike SNKRS and select retailers (to be confirmed)
