Overview:
The Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 Low Monogram Brown / Damier Azur formed part of one of the most significant luxury sneaker collaborations ever produced. Designed by Virgil Abloh during his tenure as Men’s Artistic Director at Louis Vuitton, the collection merged the heritage of Nike’s Air Force 1 with the craftsmanship of the French fashion house.
Released in February 2022, the project redefined the relationship between streetwear and luxury fashion, elevating the 1982 basketball silhouette into a high-end collector’s piece.
Design & Craftsmanship:
This particular colourway combines two iconic Louis Vuitton motifs the Monogram Brown and Damier Azur across premium calf leather panels.
The upper retains the classic Air Force 1 Low structure, including:
- Perforated toe box
- Layered panel construction
- Signature Nike Swoosh
However, every element is executed with luxury-grade materials and refined detailing. The sneaker was produced in Louis Vuitton’s Italian atelier, distinguishing it from standard Nike releases.
Co-branded tongue tags, premium stitching and metallic lace dubraes reinforce the elevated positioning of the collaboration.
The fusion of sportswear heritage and fashion-house craftsmanship makes this pair one of the most visually distinctive editions from the collection.
Due to limited availability and high demand, resale values quickly surpassed retail, further cementing the sneaker’s status as a modern collector’s item.
